Dominick Stanzione has served as Chief Operating Officer of the One Brooklyn Health System, as well as, President and Chief Executive Officer at Brookdale Hospital and Medical Center since August of 2017. Previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Maimonides Medical Center, since August of 2011; Mr. Stanzione has over 30 years of senior management experience, in community hospitals with large teaching programs. Originally trained and educated as a Physical Therapist at SUNY Downstate, Mr. Stanzione went on to earn a Master in Health Care Administration Degree at New York University. His management career progressed through a series of progressively more senior roles at several Hospitals in the Catholic Medical Centers of Brooklyn and Queens and at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Centers of NY, then moving on to lead the Bon Secours Charity Health System as it’s CEO for eight years. Prior to Maimonides, Mr. Stanzione served for three years as President and Chief Restructuring Officer at Long Island College Hospital (LICH), which was purchased by SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has received numerous awards and recognitions.
