Author's Reflection:
This poem was written about 4 months after the painful loss of my mother to cancer. As I gazed at the clouds above one day while visiting the house she used to live in, I reflected on how they remain IMmovable, UNmovable…they continue to be valuable and significant in spite of changes in climate, season and temperature. This poem is a gentle reminder that no matter what we go through in life, pain can’t erase our PURPOSE! Grief can’t bury our GIFTS! Horrors can’t drown our HOPES!”.
Acknowledging that we are struggling and asking for help to address our mental health needs is not a sign of weakness…it’s a sign of STRENGTH!”
