The heart of Brooklyn

The Division of Cardiology at One Brooklyn Health serves patients across 3 campuses and ambulatory sites. The complement of services encompass preventive, diagnostic & therapeutic. Our team of Board-Certified cardiovascular specialists provide comprehensive cardiovascular care, including Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Coronary Artery Disease, Valvular Heart Disease, and management of pulmonary embolism. In addition, our Interventional Cardiology team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week for the treatment of heart attacks and pulmonary embolisms.

To further address the needs of the community, the Division of Cardiology has expanded to include services specific to the treatment of arrhythmias (sudden death prevention) and heart failure. The OBH heart failure service offers comprehensive management of the heart failure patient including advanced disease management as such, the heart failure center was recently awarded a special grant from the American Academy of Cardiology.

The Division of Cardiology has received a commendation from the State of New York for their involvement in saving the life of a NYC Firefighter post-heart attack.
