An Easy, Cozy Dessert to Make at Home: Baked Apples

Revamped Holiday Cookbook : " Baked Apples "
This dessert is the perfect blend of sweet and tangy just for the holidays that can be enjoyed as is, or over some vanilla, frozen yogurt. Enjoy your holiday time off this weekend and make this for your friends or family!
Ingredients 
      •     6-8 apples ( cored ) 
      •     8 tsp. of unsalted butter ( or butter substitute) 
      •     1/2 cup of granola
      •     2 tbs. of honey
      •     2-3 tbs. of dried cranberries
      •     2 tbs. of brown sugar
      •     1 tsp. of cinnamon powder
      •     2 tbs. of lemon juice
      •     1/2 vanilla extract
      •     1 tbs. of grown ginger ( optional ) 
Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 350 F Cut apples into halves, and remove core. Lay on a greased pan cover the top half of the apple with lemon juice and vanilla extract.
Then, heat up the other part of butter and brush on open side of apple.
In a bowl add granola, sugar, honey, half of butter cranberries, cinnamon. Stuff the granola mixture you just made The granola mixture should have a clay like feel, as the butter will make this a bit wet. But not to worry as this will all bake merrily in the oven. 
Pop in the oven for bout 25-30 minutes or until golden brown! 
     
Serves: 4
Time: 15 minutes
