One Brooklyn Health Welcomes Dr. Yana Kryvokhyza!

Dr. Yana Kryvokhyzha is an accomplished Allergy & Immunology physician at One Brooklyn Health’s Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center Campus, with expertise in treating a wide range of allergic and immune conditions. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her internship and residency in Pediatrics at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. She then pursued a fellowship in Allergy & Immunology at SUNY Downstate, where she also served as chief fellow. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Kryvokhyzha is working towards a Master of Public Health (MPH) at the SUNY Downstate School of Public Health.

She is fluent in multiple languages including English, Ukrainian, Russian, and Spanish, Dr. Kryvokhyzha brings a broad cultural sensitivity to her practice, working with diverse patient populations. Her clinical interests include allergic rhinitis, asthma, immunotherapy, atopic dermatitis, urticaria, drug allergies, and immunodeficiencies. She is passionate about empowering patients to improve their quality of life by managing their allergies and immune health through prevention, consistent medication use, and lifestyle improvements such as diet and exercise.
