The DAISY Foundation was established in memory of Patrick Barnes, whose family created this award to honor the impactful care nurses provide to patients and their loved ones. This month, healthcare organizations worldwide are celebrating the
DAISY Award, and we are proud to recognize Eustefanelle Samson as part of this meaningful tradition.
As part of this recognition, Eustefanelle Samson received a certificate, a DAISY Honoree pin, and “The Healer’s Touch” sculpture. This beautiful sculpture is hand-carved by Shona artists in Zimbabwe and symbolizes the profound bond between nurses and their patients, connecting nurses globally with the communities these artists support.
