Breast cancer treatment, surgery and support

As part of One Brooklyn Heath's commitment to women's health, we have a patient-centered approach to detecting and treating breast cancer. Our Breast Health Services promote early detection of breast cancer and medical care treatments, surgeries and emotional support.

Our dedicated team of breast and reconstructive surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists tailor therapies to your diagnosis and work in collaboration to customize your care and ensure you receive the best cancer treatments possible. We offer two types of surgery for breast cancer treatment, mastectomy and lumpectomy. Additional surgeries for breast cancer may include lymph node dissection (lymphadenectomy) and breast reconstruction surgery. In addition, we offer reconstructive breast surgery to help rebuild the shape and look of a breast. It involves using autologous tissue, prosthetic implants, or a combination of both with the goal of reconstructing a natural-looking breast.
