Cervical Cancer is a preventable disease! While cervical cancer is a preventable disease, it has a heavy impact on women worldwide. Black women are 41 percent more likely to develop cervical cancer than white women, and 75 percent are more likely to die from it. According to WHO, Cervical Cancer is one of the most treatable forms of cancer as long as it is detected early and managed effectively.
Here at One Brooklyn Health, we understand the benefits of early detection and how it saves lives. We offer a unique Cervical Screening program every third Saturday at one of the OBH ambulatory clinics at Bristol Family Care Center on 1235 Linden Blvd.
Getting screened is the key to early detection. Screening saves lives!
