Kidney Transplant Access Program

Kidney Transplant Access Program

One Brooklyn Health is launching a Kidney Transplant Access Program in the fall of 2024 in partnership with NYU Langone Kidney Transplant Program.

Through this program, we will be offering:

  • Expanded access to kidney and kidney-pancreas transplant evaluation in Central Brooklyn
  • Faster access to clinical testing and specialist consultations
  • Support from social workers, financial consultation, and someone to guide you through your care
  • Resources for family, friends, or community members who are interested in the living kidney donor program

Our OBH kidney care team, along with NYU’s transplant specialists, will work together to determine if a transplant is right for you and provide ongoing care after your transplant.

For more information, please contact us at 718-240-5615

Kidney Transplant Access Program

If you have late-stage kidney disease, why should you consider a kidney transplant?

On average, patients who receive kidney transplant live longer and have better quality of life, than those that are on dialysis.
